Vincent FelittiFor over 50 years, Dr. Vincent Felitti has devoted his life to medicine as an educator and physician. Since 1982, Dr. Felitti has taught at the University of California as a Clinical Professor of Medicine. He is also currently an emeritus partner at Southern California Permanente Medical Group, where he served as partner from 1968 to 2018. With the help and leadership of Dr. Felitti, this practice was cited as a “Top Performing Provider Group” by the Integrated Healthcare Association for many years. He was elected Director of the practice twice, holding the position from 1974 to 1977, and again from 1980 to 1985.

Dr. Felitti became interested in medicine at a young age. Most of the men in his family, including his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, were all doctors. Further inspired by Sinclair Lewis’s “Arrowsmith,” he became a graduate student in bacteriology and then went to medical school. He began his education at Dartmouth College, where he received an AB in 1956, and then in 1962, he received an MD from Johns Hopkins University, where he also completed his internship and residency. After completing medical school he served in the United States Army Medical Corps for two years, serving at the rank of Captain. Dr. Felitti is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and has been featured in multiple versions of both Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who in Science and Engineering.
